CLASS
DESCRIPTIONS
Rhythmic
Yoga
This is a powerful workout that strengthens,
stretches and realigns the body. By linking the breath with the
power of the music we create a flow that takes the body through
a series of asanas - or poses. Many who have taken this class
call it the "Missing Link." We finish each class with a deep relaxation
as Heidi guides you through a meditation, to relax the mind, body
and spirit. It is truly the most phenomenal thing you could do
for yourself.
Powerball
Heidi can be seen teaching The PowerBall
Workout on espn2's GOTTA SWEAT wtih Cory Everson. It is a 60-minute
muscle conditioning class using the stability ball. Each exercise
uses the participants own body weight and the ball to strengthen
and lengthen each muscle. Focus is on balance and the core muscles
of the body with every motion. It's a fun workout and so much
harder than it looks.
Mat
Pilates
Retrain the body and mind to move with awareness.
Think and move in a balanced and more efficient way through a
series of integrated exercises that are designed to eliminate
muscle imbalances and create a streamlined, lengthened and strengthened
body.
Zen
Pilates
Mat Pilates with a hint of Rhythmic Yoga.
Followed by a relaxing meditation. Retrain the body and mind to
move with awareness. Think and move in a balanced and more efficient
way through a series of integrated exercises and stretches that
are designed to eliminate muscle imbalances and create a streamlined,
lengthened and strengthened body.

Pilates
Reformer
A
Pilates machine with pulleys, springs and straps. It is an
amazing workout that will help you to strengthen and lengthen
your muscles while emphasizing strength and stability through
your core. We focus on our stabilizers so that we can eliminate
any imbalances in the body and restore the natural curves
in our spine while moving through the whole body. Heidi offers
Reformer Classes as well as Private Training on the Reformer. |
Guided
Meditation
Let Heidi take you on a journey into your
most relaxed state. Learn to quiet your mind and listen to the
whispers of your intuition.
Chakra
Meditation
Relax your mind and body as we focus in
on the energy centers in our bodies, the chakras. When the chakras
are balanced - health , happiness and overall peace thrive. In
this workshop, learn about the chakras and how they relate to
our bodies, minds and our lives.
Zen
Ballet
Ballet
exercises, feel-good jazz moves, Pilates and yoga poses all in
one. A blend of lengthening and strengthening exercises to sweet,
soulful music. No need for any ballet experience. This class if
for anyone who wants balance in their life, inside or out. A meditation
at the end of class allows us to quiet the chatter in the mind
and experience deep relaxation and peace within ourselves.
Urban
Jazz
This class combines street dance,
club dancing and classic jazz dance moves. Taught for all levels.
Beginners feel that the moves are broken down enough for them
to "get it" and yet advanced students feel that the
class is moving right along at a quick pace. Class consists of
one or two MTV style routines followed by a jazz-inspired stretch.
