Celebrating with the boys

Recipe of the month


~ Chicken Salad~

2 Cups chopped cooked chicken
1 cup Cherry Tomatoes, halved
1/2 avocado, sliced
1 cup chopped Cucumber
1 green onion, sliced
Fresh Parsley
Ground Pepper

Balsamic Vinegar

1. Mix the chicken and vegetables in a bowl gently so that you keep the avocado intact.

2. Chop 1/4 cup of the fresh parsley and add to bowl.

3. Add fresh ground pepper to taste and mix.

4. Spray lightly with Balsamic Vinegar in your Misto Sprayer. If you don't have a sprayer you can  sprinkle instead.

5.Garnish with sprigs of parsley and enjoy.

Tip ~ For a great presentation you can put a cookie cutter in the center of your plate, fill the cookie  cutter with chicken salad, then gently remove the cookie cutter. The photo above was taken using a butterfly cookie cutter.

Grand Plie with Namaste'


  • Stretches & strengthens the muscles of the feet.
  • Improves Balance.
  • Strengthens the legs and core stabilizers.

How to do this pose:

(Always be sure to check with your Dr before performing this or any other new exercise especially if you have heart problems, high or low blood pressure, neck problems or are pregnant)

1. Start kneeling with hips open and heels lifted and touching each other. Hands on ground for balance.

2. Inhale. Exhale and bring your hands in front of your chest as you lengthen your spine.

3. Keep lifting from your center and let your eyes be focused slightly above eye level.

6. For more of a challenge slowly straighten your legs while keeping your heels lifted and together. Then slowly lower back to your original position while lifting through your center the whole time.

Everyday I find myself acknowledging all the wonderful people, places, and experiences in my life. It's an important thing to do. When I acknowledge my gratitude I feel overwhelmed with love and with joy. I am so fortunate to live at the beach, have wonderful people in my life and do what I love.
