Recipe of the month

~ Asparagus in Phyllo with Lemon Dill Sauce~

1 Bundle of Asparagus
Frozen Phillo Dough (Puff Pastry)
Lemon Dill Dressing

.

1. Preheat oven to 350. Wash Asparagus and cut an inch off the ends.

2. Follow directions on package of Phyllo Dough. Cut sheets into a 5 inch strip.

3. Brush one sheet lightly with Lemon Dill Dressing. Wrap bottom part of asparagus with that phyllo sheet. Place on a cookie sheet sprayed lightly with oil.

4. Repeat with the rest of the aparagus and phyllo dough.

5. Spray all the asparagus lightly with olive oil and cook 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Ball Bridge

Benefits:

  • Strengthens the lower back, shoulder stabilizers, abdominals, gluteals, hamstrings and calves.
  • Improves Balance.

How to do this exercise:

(Always be sure to check with your Dr before performing this or any other new exercise especially if you have heart problems, high or low blood pressure, neck problems or are pregnant)

1. Lie on the floor, arms to the sides heels on the ball. Feet are hips width apart. Ball is centered with your body.

2. Exhale and lift your pelvis off the floor.

3. Inhale and roll the ball into your body as you bend your knees.

4. Exhale and press the ball back out as you straighten your legs.

5. Inhale and lower your pelvis to the floor.

6. Repeat 5-20 times.
