                          Garlic 
                            Artichokes  
                          
                              
                            2 artichokes  
                            2 cloves garlic, chopped 
                            1 TBSP Olive Oil 
                            1 TBSP Fresh Grated Parmesean 
                            Salt & Pepper to Taste 
                            |

                    1. Wash Artichokes, 
                      cut 1/2 inch off stem and top and with scissors cut the 
                      tips off the outer leaves.
                     
                    2. Add 2 inches 
                      of water to a pot, place artichokes in the pot and steam 
                      for 20 minutes, until tender.
                     
                    3. Allow artichokes 
                      to cool. Quarter the artichokes, scoop out the fuzzy insides 
                      and tiny sharp leaves and set aside.
                     
                    4. In a saute pan 
                      over medium high heat add olive oil and garlic. Saute 1 
                      minute stirring so as not to burn.
                     
                    5. Add Artichokes 
                      and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
                    
                      6. 
                      Add Salt and Pepper.
                     
                    7. Sprinkle fresh 
                      parmesean cheese on artichokes just before serving.
                     
                    8. Enjoy as an 
                      appetizer or side dish.

                  How to do this exercise: 
                    
                  (Always be sure to check with your Dr before performing this 
                    or any other new exercise especially if you have heart problems, 
                    high or low blood pressure, back or neck problems or are pregnant)
                    
                      -  
                        
Place hands slightly more than shoulders width apart 
                          in line with your shoulders. (Photo above shows 
                          an advanced push up on a stability ball)
                       
                      -  
                        
Draw an imaginary line between your middle fingers. 
                          Your eyes should be directly above this line the entire 
                          duration of the exercise.
                       
                      -  
                        
 Zip your abs. Think of lengthening your body out through 
                          the top of your head and out through your heels. 
                       
                      -  
                        
Keep your body long and straight as a plank. Inhale 
                          as you bend your elbows and exhale as you straighten 
                          them .
                       
                      -    The only body parts 
                        that bend are the elbows, everything else is stable. The 
                        most important thing is stability. It doesn't matter if 
                        you only lower 1/2 inch - as long as everything else is 
                        stable.
